Executive Team

Co-founded egabi Solutions in mid-2006. As Chairman and CEO, Mr. Sanad led egabi to a leading role in the IT Solutions & Services within the region with a remarkable productivity and healthy growth patterns, becoming a first level partner for major global technology vendors, a strategic solutions partner for major customers in ME&A especially in Banking, Telecom & Government sectors and an employer of choice to young energetic IT talents & professionals. Sanad was a non-executive board member of ITIDA (IT Industry Development Agency) in Egypt. www.itida.gov.eg. Sanad is the former Chairman of the Chamber of Communication and Information Technology (CIT), a member of the Egyptian Federations of Industries with around 800 member ICT companies. He is also a non-executive board member of Technology Development Fund (TDF); a venture capital fund in Egypt focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship and startup ICT companies. Through Years 2001 till early 2006, Sanad was an executive director at Raya Corporation. Sanad held the positions of MD Raya Regional Services; MD Raya Software and GM of Operations Raya Integration. In 1997, Mr. Sanad, was GM and Partner in STS (Solutions and Technology Services),. Mr. Sanad joined NCR Corporation in 1989. By Year 1994, was the Sales Manager, Banking Sector in Egypt. A constant achiever where he attended several training and development programs in executive management & leadership. Prior to that Sanad started his career at Xerox Corporation, the Document Company, as Field Service Engineer 1987 till 1989. Mr. Sanad holds a BSc. with honors in Engineering Class of 1987; Communication & Electronics major from Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt. In 2004, Mr. Sanad successfully attended a Strategic Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, USA. 

Sameh has more than 32 years of experience in the IT professional services field. Sameh worked for IT department in Major National & multinational banks with focus on all banking application aspects (core, retail, Operation, risk & planning, etc.). Sameh moved to NCR Corporation as a solution provider to the banking industry. Blending his expertise with NCR’s system integration capacity. His Entrepreneurship skills and passion led him to leave NCR and establish BSD (Banking System Development). BSD grew rapidly with a solid pace. By early 2006, Sameh envisioned the need to expand BSD’s operation and reach new heights. He then aligned and partnered actively to transform BSD into egabi, with new injected capital and expanded management team. Sameh’s Management skills and natural team building talent helped him grow egabi’s PS team in number, function and industry coverage to include Banking, Financial Services, Telecom and Government. His focus in process excellence helped egabi achieve CMMI L3 and moving forward

With more than 25 years of experience, Ashraf’s career path started at NCR Egypt as a product consultant (networking). He later moved into sales and acquired a distinguished record of achievement. Ashraf started a company called Solutions Technology and Services (STS), which in a short period of time became one of the leading business intelligence solutions in Egypt. In 2000, STS was acquired by Raya, where he was in charge of several areas of business including professional services, and business development. In addition to establishing the first regional office to Raya in Saudi Arabia. In 2005, Ashraf then became the managing director of LINKdotNET. In 2006, Ashraf along with several partners joined BSD and started the re-engineering and rebranding of the company and helped launching egabi solutions. He is currently commercial director and board member of egabi solutions. A graduate of North Carolina State University with a major in Electrical Engineering, Ashraf joined the Microelectronics Center of North Carolina (MCNC) while pursuing post graduate studies in computer and communication engineering.

Yasser has 22 years of experience in IT services filed. Yasser joined egabi in January 2008, was responsible for establishing Saudi branch in Riyadh and developed the branch to reach more than USD 8 million in revenues in 2014.  Previously, he worked at Raya for 7 years: started as a Technical Sales in Raya Software and was promoted till reaching the position of General Manager of Raya Saudi which he held from 2006 till the end of 2007. Yasser graduated in 1993 from the faculty of engineering of Ain Shams University, with a degree in electronics and telecommunications.

Abeer joined egabi in November, 2001, she has over than 16 years of experience in Oracle Financial Services Applications (OFSAA), Oracle Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing implementations with various responsibilities covering both technical and functional prospective. Her area of expertise is Oracle implementations as well as solutions analysis and design in the Banking sector. During her career with egabi, she played an essential role in many successful key projects, Abeer started her career path at STS Later on she moved to Raya Integration, Abeer has a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Department, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Abeer is currently managing the Financial Services Industry Department covering Financial Applications implementations in addition to core banking implementations.

Hany has a combined 25 years of experience in IT field including more than 12 years in software development and implementation of core banking and financial applications. He spent more than nine years in the field of quality assurance (QA), process improvement and Business process re-engineering (BPR), using ISO and CMMI standards. Thus accumulating extensive experience and expertise regarding financial and banking industries. He joined egabi in August 2006 in a position of Quality Assurance and Business Process Unit manager. Hany graduated in 1987 from Sadat academy for management sciences in Cairo with a degree in computer sciences and IT.

Mohamed has worked since 1994 in the IT sector and specialized in IT services, operational and technical support. Mohamed was one of the founders and technical director of Advanced Operations Technology (AOT) founded in 2004 in Saudi Arabia. Previously, he was part of the Vodafone launch team and was responsible for the database administration team. Mohamed joined egabi in 2003 as ITS & Telecom Unit Manager.

Wael has more than 20 years of experience in IT field. Wael joined egabi in 2006 to establish egabi Learn the training arm for egabi Solutions. By Mid-2012 he was assigned a new position to take the responsibility of ERP Unit Manager with the main focus on overall Applications Business Development across the region. Throughout his career, Wael has been involved in multiple Projects for Design, Deployment & Support of enterprise development and ERP Solutions in different sectors including Military environment, thus gaining Technical/Functional experience on IT Operation Management, ERP Applications Management, Project Management, Service Delivery Management and Team Management. In 2009 Wael acquired his MBA from George Washington University

Ahmed’s career path started in NCR / treadata. Taking the role among 11 selective team members to support Tier 1 Customers across EMEA. In 2007 Ahmed Joined egabi as an Account Manager taking various sales responsibilities, opening new Markets and territories. In 2014 Ahmed was promoted “Sales operations Manager, Gulf” and was assigned to establish egabi Branch in UAE. Ahmed holds more than 11 years of experience in the IT industry overlaying his experience with MBA in 2010.

Ali started his career first as a Technical & Applications consultant working for NCR-Egypt then as a presales Consultant/ Bid Manager in Raya & SAP followed by a period working at Oracle alliances & channels managing partner enablement & capacity building activities & programs. In 2006 Ali joined egabi in the capacity of Presales & Bid Manager as well as looking after Business Development and channels. His career in the IT field is quite extensive. Ali holds more than 20 Years of experience diversified between Technical, functional and business functions.

Nasser has more than 20 years of extensive experience in strategic sales management, market development, startup operations in cross-cultural environments and sectors. Nasser joined egabi in early 2013. Prior to joining egabi Nasser had a successful track record with Enterprise Ireland in Dubai as Senior Marketing Advisor in ICT and Education sectors across the Middle East and North Africa region. Nasser started his career in Integra (Raya), then moved to Jeraisy Tech in Saudi as sector sales manager for Education, Aviation and Defense sectors, followed by NCR as a networking sales specialist.  More recently he worked at Al-Khaleej Training and Education in Riyadh as Business Development Manager for MENA region. Nasser accomplished his MBA degree on 2008.
